We are a five teacher school with two special education teaching posts (3 special education teachers due to a job share), special class teacher (the Hub), 2 special needs assistants in our hub, a mainstream special needs assistant, a classroom assistant and a secretary. We have five mainstream classes -Junior & Senior Infants, 1st Class, 2nd Class, 3rd & 4th Classes, 5th & 6th Classes and our Hub (ASD) Classroom.
Our philosophy at St. Saviour’s is that each child is nurtured and loved as an individual in an atmosphere of fairness, tolerance and respect.
St Saviour’s NS, Rathdrum, operates under the patronage of the Church of Ireland Bishop of Dublin and Glendalough. The school seeks to provide a climate in which all pupils find encouragement to develop spiritual and moral values, along with personal and social skills and the highest standard of excellence of which they are capable in all aspects of their school activities. The school’s aim is to educate its’ pupils in accordance with the Christian principles of love and respect for God and for other people.
